the bali way

a designer, ~ & photographer greeting from bali.
having evening meetings at little restaurants tucked away
in narrow alleys; where magic opens up if only you dare stray and
paper lanterns are all that lights up designer sketches and blog-posts,
stunningly sheer rice fields and the kindest faces on earth.

enjoying the balinese rituals on any time of day,
~ & in every corner; offerings to the gods;
full of respect and seemingly in an own little world,
that you can feel nothing but so blessed just to
get to witness, along with your own, so much more
mundane morning rituals of brushing teeth & washing face.

taking morning walks where the path to get to
morning coffee and treasure hunting, is through the
sacred monkey forest, casts a spell on us every
single morning. this is the bali way of working and
the warriors never cease to fall in love,
over and over in this island of the gods and
their people; like none else on earth.  

tomorrow part of the tribe is joining in,
~ & in another few days we’ll be completed as
the entire love warrior gang is re-united in bali, for
finding treasures to bring home, ~ & the continuation 
of designing more of our own work in between the
rice fields; with dimmed lights, the best cocktails on earth
and a very special we-can't-even-describe-it-ambiance
that we’ve only come across in bali; 
where everything you’ve ever dreamed of
just seem to fall in to place.

perhaps it's all the offerings to the gods.
perhaps it's the pure goodness that just fills
this entire little place on earth up completely; from
the smiles that always reaches the eyes of the people
to that feeling of no one ever yelling or honking a car horn.

we’ll see you again, lovelies,
from a place on earth we’d love for everyone
to get to visit at least once in their life.
