LW Winter'14

With todays LW Winter’14 launch, many projects close to our hearts saw the light.
One of them is the new series LW Moon Child Botanicals.
With the bliss of traveling one of our favorite countries,
we’ve been wanting to do bath and fragrance,
since the very first time we set our tired feet down
in a spa on the island of the gods.
The balinese just do spa like no others.

Think products developed with a whole lot of love,
by the LW team in collab with artisans rich in knowledge;
having worked with herbal remedies for over two generations.
Think 100% natural ingredients. Think truly effective.
Think raw and natural materials sought out,
- & sourced since ancient times for their skin healing qualities.
Think white clay & vanilla bean, organic honey & bali coffee,
volcanic rock & pumice stone.
Think body scrubs, face masks and home fragrances.
Think pure luxury with a clean conscience.

Think LW Moon Child Botanicals. And find it here.

Another one is the longed for LW Moon Child Lace Kimonos, - & now caftans too.
For us, making kimonos & caftans has always been a full circle - kinda thing,
as we can still remember, with a murmur thru our hearts, the lazy weekend mornings of our childhoods,
where our mothers & fathers would lounge around in theirs.
With this LW Moon Child series we wanted to continue that legacy,
and if kimonos and caftans are a must in the Warrior wardrobe, so is lace,
-& we have therefore combined the two in these garments.
Wear them with nothing but bare skin, feeling beautiful around the house, and all dressed up as well,
with a belt for a more defined look, they are made for it.
The soft and stylishly lazy lace get up is here to remind you
we live by the sun and love by the moon.

You find them all in the Warrior Wardrobe.

Another loved project in the launch is LW Warriors of the World.
This series in the making, is one inspired by all the amazing creatures and characters
we meet on our journeys around the globe, - & a reminder that we all have a fighter inside of us;
that can be wisely brought out, who ever and where ever we are, when needed.

Our designer Sara N Bergman paints with hand, heart (& kind childrens paint)
and photographer Hannah Lemholt shoots and immortalizes.
Magic souls and loving warriors, brought to you by LW.
Now available as both fine art prints in different sizes
and the new, rough craft paper photo bags.

Yet another project close to our hearts,
- & launched in the winter collection, is the LW photo art calendar’15.

As the end of one year is drawing closer, the promise of a new one lies in the middle distance.
To us it feels like we’re all glancing at it, together, not really knowing,
however much we think we can plan life.
We can aspire though.

And that pretty much sums up what the LW photo art calendar for 2015 is about.
We wanted to repeat to you, some of our own watchwords, like
integrity, strength, personality, kindness, creativity, empathy, affinity honesty, hope,
- & a little bit of mischief on every new month of the new year.

Warrior and illustrator Sara N Bergman has hand painted with her magic hand
and in chalk & japanese ink she has adorned the photography of Hannah Lemholt,
with some of our common favorite quotes by inspiring people
(all to be found credited in the index of the calendar prints).

We’ve all put our soul, creativity and love into this project
and we are so happy about the outcome,
- & your love for it, already flowing over in e-mails and wishes to pre order.

It is here now. 2015. Let’s make it …

There’s also a brand new collab & collection, that we are very proud of,
- & one that has been kept a bit under wraps until now.
And that's the LW Khadi Kimonos.
This unisex LW designed kimono is 100 % handmade of soft Khadi textiles.
This means that the cotton is hand picked, the spinning of the cotton is made by hand
and the yarn is woven by hand into organic fabric of superior quality.

Khadi is not even just a fabric, it’s a whole movement started by Mahatma Gandhi,
promoting Indian goods, to improve India’s economy and independence.
Gandhi worked for khadi-spinning to strengthen the rural Indian self-employment and self-reliance.
Thus khadi symbolizes political ideas and independence and still today most politicians in India only dress in Khadi,
it is used in a number of suits in the new Star Wars movies and in fashion alike.
We lovingly collaborate on these LW Khadi Kimonos with our friends Harmit & Bess in India,
carrying the proud handmade tradition of eco cotton and political values in between its threads.

.. along with treasures from the sea,
- & details that make for the kind of deco that, as you probably know by now,
we have a weak spot for; those that can be part of a
natural home.
For us, the holidays, like Christmas, is no exception, and we wanted to bring
that LW touch to you as well, as an alternative to the traditional.
We also love it when things can be used in many ways and not only for a dizzyingly
fleeting time, and therefore decided to have our artisan friends make these
ideas come together, - in adding string attachment to the LW shell balls,
and golden rings to white feathers,
- that now can hang dreamlike from a christmas tree, a tree in the garden
for that special summer dinner, on a door handle, on a hanger holding that beloved
dress on the wall, - or just bundled together in a glass box,
beautifully awaiting your next idea..

the Warriors
