book : the little black jacket – chanel’s classics revisited by  karl lagerfeld and carine roitfeld | playing cards : waldersten
fossil cheeseboard : soon in our shop {along with other new fossil beauties} | other : vintage & stylists own

on their way in to our shop are some beyond beautiful
fossil objects, like the above cheeseboard and stunning sideboards
/ pallets that we fell completely in love with last year,
and have been working on getting home ever since.
completely cool & breathtaking in combination with soon ours,
– now there’s a combination of words we love.

’petrified wood’ isn’t wood that was scared to death,
as was discussed over said loaded cheeseboard & wine last night,
but  the result of a tree having completely transitioned
to stone by the process of mineralization, which goes on for
hundreds of millions of years {!}, rendering these stunning
pieces a polished heart and ruffled layers;
whispering about that impressive age in unique growth rings,
and a mantle of rough bark exterior. finally leaving us in
awe of that cool beauty & astonishing process.

happy friday,
a great weekend

and love,

the warriors
