Ketut is the 10-year old daughter of one of our friends in Bali. She's always dreamt of a close encounter with an elephant and one day she came with us to meet Adele. First, Adele's size frightened Ketut and it seemed like the elephant sensed that, because she then lied down. Ketut slowly gained the courage to feed Adele carrots and finally hug her.
