“Chi” is a portrait that arrives like a whispered truth — a girl with a shaved head, dressed in a simple white garment, holding a lamb close to her chest as though she’s guarding something ancient, fragile, and astonishingly alive. There is a serenity in her stance, but also something fierce in its stillness — the soft kind of courage that rarely announces itself, yet changes everything it touches.

In our circles, the conversations about the animals who follow us — the ones that appear again and again, almost insistently — have become their own kind of ritual. Mamma always began these talks, wondering which creatures accompany us in the invisible spaces of our lives. Not the grand archetypes — not the lion, not the eagle — but the quiet ones that slip in when we think no one is watching.

And over the years, we’ve learned this:
The animals who claim us are seldom the ones we would have chosen.
They arrive not to flatter us, but to teach us.
Not to mirror who we think we are, but who we are becoming.

Some souls are followed by the lamb — the symbol of gentleness mistaken for weakness, of softness misread as fragility. But the truth of the lamb is more subtle:
It speaks of the bravery required to stay open.
To remain tender in a world that rewards armor.
To nurture what trembles instead of abandoning it.
