Cutting Board

Inspired by the beautiful old boards of Timor, originally used for clearing cotton, we have made these cutting boards and wooden dishes out of jackfruit tree. The cotton seeds were collected in the carvings along the edges. Such beautiful details! The heat and fire of the kitchen have naturally given the vintage boards a dark brown colour. In order to give the LW cutting boards a vintage look, without the use of chemicals, we have charred our jackfruit tree kitchen utensils.
